| Real-time, Community-centric Security Symbiot.NET is our central repository of attacker profiles based on the cooperative surveillance and reconnaissance gathered by all network participants. This information is used to accurately identify attackers, evaluate their methods and intent, and recommend the appropriate countermeasures. Symbiot's attacker profiling relies heavily on our "Risk Scoring" system, an open standard by which we can measure the overall threat posed by an attacker. The Risk Score is represented as a three-digit number (000) and bears considerable similarity to a credit score provided by the credit reporting organization. These risk scores are used throughout our system and provide the accountability, consistency and standardization that we've found lacking in all other security solutions. Symbiot will open access to its Symbiot.NET database for ad-hoc queries and risk score retrievals. |
